It seems like more and more artists nowadays are giving away their music for free and WE LOVE IT!
It started out by Radiohead offering their 2007 album "In Rainbows" to download for as much as are willing to pay "including 0$ which most of the people did", and then Coldplay followed their steps by making the latest single "Violet Hill" available as a free download for only one week before it goes on sale at digital retailer.
Also Nine Inch Nails allowed their fans to download the first nine tracks of "Ghosts I-IV" for free from their website and now they're doing it again with their 2008 album "The Slip" but this time they've decided to give the entire album for absolutely nothing and in a variety of formats.
I was pretty impressed when I first listened to "The Slip", the amazing album cover was the first thing to catch my eyes not to mention that each track has its own artwork, overall it was a great album and definitely worth getting. So if you were a NIN fan you won't be disappointed with it.
